An Interesting Story From Colorado

I get a kick out of some of these old newspaper accounts. It is easy to imagine the author sitting outside in the sun, or maybe writing by the light of a kerosene lamp, telling their story about the way things are.

Sometimes you have to admire the optimism they show and wonder if things have changed much in the last 100 or so years. They seem to be shills for someone, It is easy to imagine who.

What do you think? Has news reporting changed much?
